picture it: you're standing in babies r us, surrounded by screaming toddlers, anxious moms-to-be and your increasingly impatient husband. but you can't leave yet, because you absolutely have to buy [fill in the blank - a crib, a high chair, a glider, a car seat, a stroller...] before you go home.
there are so many products out there, how are you supposed to choose which one is the best? you have two options:
1) visit little dictators AND
2) buy the book "baby bargains"
baby bargains outlines great discounts, online deals and money saving secrets for baby items, but that's not why we like it. we love it for their well-organized review section, where they compare and contrast the most popular cribs, mattresses, strollers, bedding, high chairs, car seats and more. items are given an easy-to-understand letter grade and are cleverly put into compare and contrast charts.
this was our purchasing bible before we had our little guy, and now that we're in the market for a new high chair (sorry, crusty plaid inherited high chair thoughtfully given to us by friends), we're once again toting "baby bargains" around with us to every store we visit.

I second the nomination for Baby Bargains. We used it to pick our crib, mattress, and bedding. I'm still stroller-phobic but once I'm ready we'll use it for that too.
